The aspiring driver should attend:
- Theoretical courses: 15 hours*
- Practice courses: 15 hours*
*One teaching hour equals to 45 minutes.
- To be of 24 years old or 21 year old, provided they request or hold a certificate of professional competence of driver of passenger transport vehicles, which has been issued by an EU state member or from the states of Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein.
- The interested party must have his residence in Greece or the status of student for at least six (6) months in Greece continuously or cumulatively, during the last twelve months.
- If the interested party is a foreigner, he/she must have a residence or stay permit or a work permit for 6 consecutive months before submitting the application for a driving license.
- For EU state members or the states of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, a certificate of registration as a citizen of an EU State Member is required. It must be issued 95 days before the application for a driving license, as well as copies thereof.
- Hold a valid category B driving license.
- Buses regardless of the number of passengers and its length.
- Cars of this category can be combined with a trailer with a maximum permissible mass not exceeding 750 kg.
- The license is valid for 5 years. Then it needs renewal.
