- Four (4) colored passport type photos
- Copy of identity card or passport and residence permit
- Social Security Number (AMKA)
- VAT number
- Certificate of Ophthalmologist and Physician, as well as photocopies of the two receipts of payment from the doctors
- Application (provided by the school)
- Driving license printing application (provided by the school)
Fees
- One (1) stamp of initial administration category
- One (1) driving license printing fee
- One (1) fee for the theoretical examination
- One (1) fee for practice examination of tests and behavior
- One (1) initial administration category fee
The aspiring driver should attend:
- Theoretical courses: 21 hours* Highway Code
- Practical courses: 25 hours*
*One teaching hour equals to 45 minutes.
- The interested party must be over 18 years of age
- The interested party must have his residence in Greece or the status of student for at least six (6) months in Greece, continuously or cumulatively, during the last twelve months
- If the interested party is a foreigner he/she must have a residence or stay permit or a work permit for 6 consecutive months before submitting the application for a driving license.
- For EU state members or the states of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, a certificate of registration as a citizen of an EU State Member is required. It must be issued 95 days before the application for a driving license, as well as copies thereof
- Passenger up to 9 seats including the driver
- Trucks up to 3,500 kg gross weight
- Possibility of towing a trailer up to 750 kg
- The license is valid for 15 years after it needs to be renewed
